The location of the property was best possible and convenient as we were next to the Douro Valley, The River & Good Restuarant's, and the centre of Régua. It also was really close to the railway station.

I recently stayed at Original Douro in Peso da Regua for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully renovated and conveniently located near the river and train station. The staff went above and beyond, helping us book trips and providing excellent restaurant recommendations. The bed linens were top-notch and breakfast was fantastic, especially the scones or biscuits. one of the best hotels we've stayed in Portugal!
